Couples for Christ

Couples for Christ (CFC) is a worldwide Catholic movement dedicated to the renewal and strengthening of Christian family life. Guided by its vision, “Families in the Holy Spirit Renewing the Face of the Earth,” CFC strives to build strong, faith-filled families that become instruments of God’s transforming love in the world. Its mission, “Building the Church of the Home and Building the Church of the Poor,” calls members to live lives of holiness, evangelize through love and service, renew families, develop Christian leaders, and serve those most in need.

Founded in the Philippines in 1981, CFC has since spread across the world, touching the lives of countless couples and families. In New Plymouth, Taranaki, CFC was established in November 2008 and continues to support families in living out their Christian faith and vocation. In 2000, CFC received recognition from the Holy See (Vatican) as a Private International Association of the Lay Faithful of Pontifical Right, affirming its mission and ministry within the universal Catholic Church.

CFC is not just an organization; it’s a movement — a joyful gathering of married couples, singles, and families who seek to live out their faith in practical ways.
