Illumin8
Illumin8 is our parish youth group for teenagers aged 13 to 18 from the colleges and the parish. We are recognised as a Life Teen parish, integrating Life Teen resources into our weekly activities so young people and their families can grow in a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church.
We gather every Sunday evening in school term from 6:30pm–8:30pm at St Joseph’s Church Hall. Many come to 5:30pm Mass first. The evening includes dinner, games, and a Life Night exploring a series each term. Once a month we host a Social Night — bowling, karaoke, movie nights, game nights and more.
Youth Masses
We host Youth Masses on the second and last Sunday of each month. These Masses give teenagers a chance to worship together, take part in ministry, and grow as a community of faith.
Young people are welcome to get involved — from music and reading to welcoming others. Check the parish calendar and Illumin8 Instagram for upcoming Youth Mass dates.
Confirmation
Each year the parish runs a Confirmation Programme for year 11 to 13 students. Confirmation deepens and strengthens in us the life of the Holy Spirit that began at Baptism — a gift that helps us grow in holiness and closer to God.

Events
Alongside weekly Illumin8 nights, we offer Youth Alpha in secondary schools, an annual retreat and camp, social nights, and other opportunities for teenagers to grow in faith and friendship.
