Adoration

Adoration is a sacred time where we come before Jesus in the Most Holy Eucharist, present in the Blessed Sacrament. It is a moment of silence, prayer, and deep communion with the Lord who loves us. As we gaze upon Him, we are reminded of His words: “Be still, and know that I am God” (Psalm 46:10). In the quiet time of Adoration, we can bring our joys, struggles, and hopes to Jesus, trusting that He listens with a heart full of love.

The Eucharist is the source and summit of our Christian life, and spending time with Christ in Adoration strengthens us for our daily journey. Jesus Himself invites us: “Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). Here, in His presence, we find peace, renewal, and guidance for our lives.

As St. Teresa of Calcutta beautifully said, “When you look at the crucifix, you understand how much Jesus loved you then; when you look at the Sacred Host, you understand how much Jesus loves you now.” Adoration is our time to respond to that love with gratitude and devotion. We warmly invite all parishioners, families, and children to spend time in Adoration, even if just for a few moments, to experience the gift of God’s presence.
